How to adjust the tension of the chain of the crusher free elevator

The methods for adjusting the chain tension of different types of unbreakable hoists may vary slightly, but they can generally be adjusted through the following common methods:

1、 Adjust the tensioning device

Many unbreakable elevators are equipped with tensioning devices at the tail or bottom, commonly including screw type tensioning devices. This device changes the tension of the chain by rotating the screw and pushing the tensioning frame with sprocket or drum to move. When performing the specific operation, first loosen the fixing bolts on the tensioning frame, then use a wrench to rotate the screw to move the tensioning frame along the guide rail, observe the tension of the chain until it reaches the appropriate tension, and finally tighten the fixing bolts.

Some elevators also use spring type tensioning devices, which use the elastic force of the spring to automatically adjust the tension of the chain. If the chain is found to be loose, the tension can be increased by adjusting the pre tension of the spring. Usually, the nut is adjusted by rotating the spring to increase the compression of the spring, thereby applying greater tension to the tensioning wheel chain.

2、 Increase or decrease the number of chain segments

When the chain is used for a period of time, it may elongate due to wear and tear, and the tension cannot be effectively adjusted by the tensioning device alone. Therefore, it is necessary to consider increasing or decreasing the number of chain segments. Firstly, it is necessary to accurately measure the elongation of the chain and determine the number of sections that need to be adjusted. Then, use a specialized chain disassembly tool to remove the excess links on the chain. If the chain is too short, suitable chain links need to be added. During the operation, it is important to ensure that the chain connection is secure and avoid any looseness or disconnection.

3、 Adjust the position of the sprocket

The installation position of the sprocket of some non crushing elevators is adjustable. The tension of the chain can be changed by moving the position of the sprocket. For example, loosen the fixing bolt of the sprocket and move it a certain distance away from the chain drive end to tension the chain. After the adjustment is completed, tighten the fixing bolts again and check the installation accuracy of the sprocket to ensure a good fit between the sprocket and the chain, avoiding problems such as chain deviation.

When adjusting the tension of the non crushing elevator chain, it is important to pay attention to the moderate tension. Tightness can increase the wear of chains and sprockets, and may also lead to excessive motor load; If it is too loose, it will cause the chain to slip and affect the normal operation of the hoist. Generally speaking, the verticality of the adjusted chain should be within the specified range to ensure that the chain can operate normally and reduce unnecessary wear and failure.
