Working principle and detection knowledge of belt conveyor:

1、 Working principle of conveyor

When the transmission device drives the transmission drum to rotate, the belt is tensioned between the measuring rollers through the tensioning device, causing friction between the transmission drum and the belt and driving the belt to operate. The material is added to the belt conveyor by the feeding device and discharged after being conveyed to the unloading device.

2、 Pre operation inspection of conveyor

1. Confirm that the equipment has safety requirements for on-site operations;

2. Confirm that the bag filter of the equipment is started and running;

3. Select the selector switch on the on-site control box to the correct position;

4. Are the fastening bolts loose;

5. Is the lubrication condition of each lubrication point good;

6. Whether the scraper of the cleaning vehicle is adjusted properly;

7. Check for foreign objects on the belt and rollers;

8. Check the belt for tearing, burrs, and fuzzing;

9. Check whether the roller rotates flexibly and whether the roller is severely worn, and whether it needs to be replaced;

10. Check if the belt baffle is intact;

11. Are the brakes, limit switches, and protective devices responsive and reliable in their actions.

3、 Inspection during Conveyor Operation

1. Check if the cutting is uniform;

2. Check for abnormal vibration and heating of the motor and reducer;

3. Check if the discharge port is blocked;

4. Check if the positions of each dust collection valve are correct;

5. Is the belt off track.

4、 Shutdown inspection

1. Check if the belt baffle needs to be replaced;

2. Check whether the lubricating oil at each lubrication point needs to be replenished;

3. Check the tension of the transmission chain;

4. Check if the position of the cleaner and scraper is correct;

5. Check whether there is material accumulation at the discharge port and whether there is abnormal wear;

6. Check if the belt joint is intact;

7. Replace the roller when it rotates abnormally or is severely worn;

8. Keep the belt surface and roller surface clean.

5、 Abnormal situation handling

1. When the following situations occur during operation, an emergency stop should be made on site:

2. Serious belt deviation and material leakage;

3. Belt tearing;

4. Abnormal noise or heating of motor bearings;

5. Chain detachment, breakage or abnormal noise
